What is "telepractice"?

Telepractice brings speech-language pathology to you. Services are provided in the comfort and convenience of your own home or office via teleconferencing over the Internet. Reduced travel time, fewer cars on the road, easier scheduling, no worries regarding inclement weather - that's the convenience of telepractice.

Telepractice is appropriate for many speech-language pathology issues and kinds of clients. If you'd like to find out if telepractice is right for you, contact us at slp@slssv.com, and we'd be happy to discuss this exciting possibility with you.

Education and self-advocacy

An important part of speech-language pathology is educating individuals and groups on various topics within the field of speech-language pathology. Increased knowledge leads to greater awareness and the confidence to self-advocate.

Webinars, provided at no cost to the public, are held throughout the year so that anyone who'd like to "Chat With An SLP" has the opportunity to ask questions and get reliable answers from a professional.

In addition, if you'd like an SLP to come speak to your class or group, whether it's a "Career Day" at school or community outreach program, we'd be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.

To be notified of upcoming events, or to inquire about a speaking engagement, please e-mail us at slp@slssv.com for more information.
